Real Estate IRA Investments
Have you considered real estate IRA investments? They are not the leading IRA investments, but they could be, if more people started using them. Lots more people, because at this time most people do not invest in real estate IRA investments. Not because they are not profitable, but because people don't know about them.
The leading IRA investments are stocks and bonds. But that doesn't mean that is the only place you should put your IRA investments. With a traditional IRA, the counselor or trustee who helps you set your IRA up, is usually a financial institution who charges you large fees to give you advice on where to put your money.
These financial 'advisors' direct you towards products they sell, which they make commissions on. They are not always looking out for your best interest, but instead they are looking out for their interest. Mainly what they have to sell you.
A better way to invest in IRA is to have a self-directed IRA. This is an IRA that is exactly as it sounds ' you direct where the money is invested. You make the choices, and you have control over where you want to invest the money. You still need a custodian to handle the paperwork required by the IRS. Which I think is a good thing. I don't know about you, but I don't want to do the paperwork for my IRA's, so I am glad the government made the rule that someone else had to do this part.
One place you can put you money is in real estate IRA investments. Just because they are not the leading IRA investments, doesn't mean there is not money to be made. Your banker or financial advisor who wants to sell you stocks won't tell you about a self-directed IRA. They would rather be the one to direct you where to put your hard earned money, so they can get a piece of it.
Wouldn't you rather be the one who directed your leading IRA investments? It makes more sense doesn't it? It is your money, your future that you need to protect.
